I've got a finger leather that is under (but still within reach) of the tentacles of my Anemone (GBTA).

The finger leather was doing great for 2 months or so, but now isn't doing so well.. Could the GBTA be stinging/attacking it ?

Anemones stinging finger leathers must be contagious this week. I put a wave maker on my system last weekend, and apparently the changed flow pushed my anemone into the vicinity of my green finger leather. The anemone was just barely touching a couple of the "fingers" but I didn't want to take any chances, so I moved the leather to the other side of the tank.

The area where the anemone was brushing up against the leather is not doing well. Here is a pic... you can see where the end of the leather has "blackened"
