Ugh. I was tearing the 20g down to prep hopefully for use as a fuge... when I noticed a 1.5" or so long crack in the top near the corner:

It's hard to see here, but it's there, right in front of my finger - I can definitely feel it on the glass.

Is it repairable? Is it worth it? The tank isn't THAT expensive, I guess. I *suppose* I could go throw another ~$30 at PetSmart for another 20 gallon tank... but for *'s sake, I really don't want to.

Is this the kind of thing I can hit lightly with a heat gun, and then some thin superglue? I was hoping to drill one of the long sides (this is on one of the narrow sides) or bottom of the tank...

$30 is a small price to pay compared to potential water on the floor
No lie there.
Is that a crack or scratch?

You know... I'm not 100% certain. I can feel it on the outside, but not the inside. If I "chip" away at the dark line with my fingernail, some of the dark line has disappeared, though I can still feel it where it was.

From the perspective I originally had it in, it seemed like it had the 2-dimensional nature of a crack through glass, but inspecting it further in another light, I'm less certain now.
