Added gfo and carbon reactors today. Since I filled them a little over half way I am planning to only run a couple hours tonight then step up the time for a few days to not have a suddem nutrient drop

Updated pics. Pretty close to finished adding tbe equipment I picked up over the past 16 months. I may not install tje dos, will see how everything goes before dosing unless other members recomend otherwise.

The UV could use a better mounting and I plan to clean up the wires when I recieve new probes.

Tbere was a little hair algae that came over from my biocube that seems to be taking hold. I am planning to add a blue regal tang (dory for my wife and kids) and am debating which second largeer fish I will add. Would the tang handle the hair algae?

Noticed you are using an Avast ATO or at least looks like it? Wondering how do you like it? Was wanting to purchase one for my sump less reef because I heard I can keep water lever above top rim with it. Thanks!

I have had no issues with it and Avast claims the the tube sensor is maintenance free since it works on air pressure. It plugs straight into the APEX PM2 module which is great. The only thing I wish was different is that the default setting for sw2 [my pm2 module] must be reversed in the Apex...which is easy enough to change in advaced programming. Otherwise it is great.

It has been a while since I updated.  I finally got around to cleaning up my sump wiring, hoses, etc. last night.  I still have a little work to go, but now I can see what needs to be done better.  Here it is...

I thought I had this tank for longer than this past April.  With the move I am upgrading again and tbis setup will be for sale once I am dobe using it as a QT for new fish.
