dieing hermits

i found two dead hermits with no back ends... but no empty shells anywhere is could they not be dieing but like molting??

yeah look at the molt in a day and it will be translucent.. they look like dead crabs at first

my shrimp do this...when you first see the molt you think you have a dead animal but it is not...LOL

Hermits, emerald crabs and shrimp all molt. The molts look so real, it freaked me out when I found my first emerald crab molt!

Yea all crustations molt that way nothing to worry about.
