Different Live Rock Types

I have used PUKANI and it is BY FAR my favorite. i've seen reports of it leaking PO4, but I've NEVER had this issue.

The rock issue sounds odd. Unless there was parasites or maybe he had nuisance algae. Technically it's not a parasite nor is it ich.... or maybe they were exposed to dangerous chemicals and he boiled them to try to get them to leach it out. Worst case is you get them and dip every single one in peroxide.

Yup that's kinda my thoughts on it now too. I prefer to save myself the hassle and be safe rather than sorry. I'll just purchase from a LFS unless a member has some they are willing to sell or get rid of.

Only bad thing with a 55 is the width which doesn't allow fish much room at all and that will limit your fish as well with the standard 55. I'm going with pukani dry rock on my 45jbj I'm setting up next week.
