no, im not talking some sort of genetic procedure. It should be ok to mount various colors of digita on the same plug shouldn't it? I mean will a racal war ensue, or will they live in harmony realizing they are the same.... only different?

I thought they'd sting eachother just as if they were growing to close to each other. I'm uncertain.

+1 to you for thinking out of the box!

If you have enough to play with, I'd try supergluing a small piece of one color onto another. Just think if it lived.

I had a round colony of pink birdsnest growing in the center of a colony of green birdsnest. Both corals started out as 2mm growth tips that I superglued onto a piece of liverock right next to each other. Lots of members got to see it.

With two of the same species I do not see an issue - trying a monti and an acro won't work though...

Supposedly, you can take two different colored mushrooms, slap them together and squeeze very hard, then peel them apart and you'll end up with two multicolored mushies......

Never tried it personally, but heard it's true. We should have a new thread where we test REEFING URBAN MYTHS!!!!!</em>

Guys that have had green death and purple death palys sometimes get morphs between the two.
