I bought 4 green chromis last night from my LFS. I acclimated them and put them in my QT. They all seem to be doing good but I noticed one fish has a mark on his back. It looks like he might be missing a scale or two. The mark appears to be white smooth skin and not red or pink. The guy at the LFS had a little bit of a time netting one of the fish so I think it happened then.

I was planning on treating these fish with prazipro for a couple weeks and then just observe them for 6 more weeks before they go into the DT. Now that I noticed this mark on this fish, I was wondering if I should 1) continue with the prazipro - or -2) treat with an anti-biotic - or - 3) do nothing and wait and see how the issue develops?

If it was me I'd continue with my plan and watch to see what comes of it.
If it starts getting a head or something string like hanging out of the wound , or isn't healing I'd just pluck it out so it doesn't infect the others.
Good luck hope it pulls through for you .

definately at least prazi, not sure what it is so I cannot give further advice. someone else should chime in soon.....
