does anyone have a sand sifting crab?

I havent ever heard of these until browsing this site earlier. I remember as a kid, on a vacation to Florida with my parents.. some guy showed me how to catch these guys as they burried themselves in the sand as the waves went back out. He called them sand fleas. Im really interested in one of these, does anyone have one? Can you share your experience about it?

I've tried them in the past with no luck. Basicly after I put them in the tank they disappeared. :sad: I must admit though I am not positive how they feed, and mine were "wild" caught.
