Does anyone know about DIY Coral Snow KZ

So, been reading threads about DIY coral snow similar to KZ brand - clarifies and helps fights cyano etc. The threads say all it is is food grade calcium carbonate with RoDI water. Wondering if anyone has experience with doing this and how successful- did it work etc? Thanks for any advice

I have some. I didn’t see adverse effects albeit I wasn’t treating for cyano

The water was clearer tho although I never had issue with water clarity

Yes I did. I dosed 3-4 times when the light was off

The recipe only requires a small amount of pharmaceutical grade calcium carbonate.

I think I am going to order what @hzheng33 recommended and used as that is what folks in the reef2reef thread used too. I am going to try the diy method and see how it does since I am almost out of my KZ product.
