Yesterday, I finally got up the nerve to work on my skimmer. It already had a 1 1/8" hole and since the inside fitting broke off I decided to fix it with a uni-seal that needed a 1 14" hole. Luckily it was very anti-climatic; the dremel with sanding drum worked perfectly until it broke. I was mostly done and was able to finish with the sanding drum in my drill. Of course now I need to get or fix my dremel. Thanks for all the good inputs.
