dusty jawfish

just got a dusty jawfish for my 14 gallon. ive never had one before, any advice?
 
They need a 3" min sandbed as a rule to burrow, and a lid to avoid jumping. They can be a threat to small shrimps (if you have any). They are best kept with docile tankmates.
 
I assume you mean Dusky Jawfish... They dig A LOT! Hide any of your frags as they will use them to build walls of their hideout. Put some shells and rubble on the other side of the tank and the next morning, he will re-arrange it all to suit his needs. Mine loves Mysis and shoots out and back into his burrow like a rocket at feeding time.... very cool fish!
