Don't remember who gave me this piece but I was worried about it at first but after 6 months it's become one of my favorites. Now totally encapsulated in this sponge this guy is super happy . This one started very small and has grown well . Pretty hardy too . The crabs all graze on it daily with little effect .

The new light is awesome . Everything is full and glowing . Very pleased. Turned the old light into a fuge light ( testing) and added a few pieces. Torch , some mushrooms ,and a paly .

GSP wall project is underway .. should fill in nice .

In the middle of a few projects and the tail end of a algae/ phosphate prob but everything is looking all poofy and extended . The new light is working wonders .

GSP wall is finally taking hold ( don't mind the globs of glue please.

Sps pieces are actually growing ( first for me ) vs slowly dying .

How do you like your skimmer and refugium set up?

I like them now .

I added an air inlet line to the sicce pump on the skimmer , so I have better control over the skimmer and can really dial it in . Also the skimmer works well in the hang on fuge .

I totally redid the input and output on the fuge . I have the factory inlet set up as an overflow , the outlet runs through a filter sock and back into the rear of the aio section of the tank . And the main return pump is split to feed the fuge so I didn't need yet another pump. Also cut some acrylic to make bubble traps / chaeto containment panels in there . Helps keep it where it needs to be .

But yeah it's good now .

I went to get some free chaeto , swap a shroom and buy a cristata . Ended up with these , no cristata , a new KIA suv and a tiny tomini tang ? How does this happen ? Ohhhh I brought my wife ...lol

You have a beautiful tank. I like the GSP wall. I'm trying to do the same but with GSP and zoas.
Is that a torch in the back? How is it compared to the frogs & hammers? Easier/harder/same?

I treat everything the same . I have some sps that is my canary in the coal mine so to speak. As long as it's happy all the lps is happy
