External Return Pump Advice

What would you buy to push around a 150 gallon system, lowest power consumption, low heat, efficient pump? Under cabinet. 120 Oceanic Tech Display with 40 gallon sump, and a 36" tall cabinet. Thanks ahead of time.

Reeflo dart. I've had a few reeflo pumps and I loved them!! Very quiet, fairly low power consumption, low heat, extremely effective! Just make sure you feed the pump with the proper size intake piping. If the pump had a 2" inlet and you feed it through a 1.5" bulkhead it will severely reduce the flow, from my experience. Other than that they are phenomenal, the only external pump I will ever use.

Stoney, thank you for your information. I will put it into to the options. I can't wait to see the new build, pick a tank yet?

Anybody else have a preferred pump?

No worries bro, anytime! Not yet, I'm 99% sure it's going to be a cube, now I've just got to decide how big. Probably under 100gal on the display then, about a 55 gal custom sump. But we shall see!
