First is a question and depending on the answer a request. So if someone has a tank that is fully cycled and they do a water change could that water go into my 10 gallon frag tank (with currently no water in it) would that instant cycle the tank? And the request depending on the answer to that question if anybody does a larger water change like 5 gallons or more on a tank that is established do you think i cold have that water?

The actual water contains very little bacteria needed for cycling. If this was your approach, you'd be much better off using someone else's cycled rubble, rock, or filter media.

Are you simply trying to cycle a new tank faster? If that's the case, there are some great products that I have seen several members here vouch for. I just ordered fritzzyme 9, and folks claim it can get you fully cycled within a week if used appropriately.
