I am considering adding an extra powerhead to the back of my tank to get extra flow through the rocks. If anyone does this, do you notice a decrease of algea on the rocks? If I add a powerhead to my tank, is their a chance of toxins being pushed out of the rocks(sulfer pockets)? Am considering using the smallest hydor koralia nano powerhead, are they good or should I look for a different pump? Thanks.

Have you noticed a decrease in algae on the rock?

I have two hydor nano's on either side and actually move them every few days to keep the rocks clean of debris and algae. Seems to work pretty good.

I've had two of the small hydro Nano's for years, they are good pumps. I use one now in my overflow to keep it clean.
