Female Laying eggs but make eating them.

Well I saw my female clown laying eggs today but my male deicide he wanted to eat them instead of fertilize them.

What's up with that? Will he always do this or will he realize what he is suppose to do?

Guess he like to eat more then he likes Sex.

Yea some are still their but he definitely eat some. Thanks for the info. I think this my be their first but can't be positive.

Like Charlie said, Its common and sometimes takes a few clutches for them to get it right
