Today I'm going to finish my transfer from my 5.5g to my 36g but I have a few questions.
I'm going to move my clown, cleaner shrimp, porcelain crab and cleanup crew over today. Do I need to drip acclimate them to the new tank? I'm using the same salt and same water the temp is about 1degree cooler in the new tank. Secondly I do have a bad outbreak of flatworms in the 5.5g, every coral transferred has been dipped and thoroughly inpected for eggs before the move, should I worry about the CUC carrying anything over? Maybe shake the snails off good first? Lastly should I consider moving asterna stars over? I was planning on using the tank as a QT but give it a very through cleaning first, remove rock and sand, so anything washed out is pretty much SOL?
