Finally set up my 25 gal

Got a 25 gal Eclipse from Jenn last month - I painted the back, touched up the stand a bit too. Went with a thin layer of sand and a couple of pcs of LR from my 210.

Its sole purpose is for QT - just an observatory for new arrivals, no treatments or anything like that...

I used new sand and 75% new water/25% DT water and fully cured LR from my display...Im hoping my cycle time will be cut down by doing this but im in no real hurry.

Looks good, curious, are you going to put some kind of fish in there to keep the biological filter active in between purchasing new fish? Seems like if it ran fallow you would lose the good bacteria.

Yeah - its nice to finally get it set up

I have a tank raised clown I have had for a while that I am going to toss in there after the cycle to keep the poop flowing. Probably a couple of zoas too to test the new arriving fish for polyp munching tendancies..
