I would like to know what can be added to give color to the mix of fish below

1 blue hippo tang
1 yellow tang
2 mis-bar clowns
1 multi-color angel
1 blue chromis
5 pajama fish
1 sleeper banded blenny
1 twin spot golby
1 engineer golby
1 diamond watchman goldy
1 psychedelic green mandarin
1 target mandarin

Doesn't look like you're a wrasse fan, but if I may suggest the road not yet taken, how about a mystery one - Mystery Wrasse? I've had one with paired clowns, tangs, gobies, chromis, and mandarin (if they not colorful enough). IME, very peaceful and model tankmate citizen in my tank. Others may report problems with them, but mine is par excellence and colors on it are just purdy!...just a suggestion C.

Sticking with the wrasses, I love my Yellow Choris Wrasse. Not as colorful as some of the others but it is a bright yellow, just like the yellow tang you have. They are extreamly active and hardy and have a great personallity. Or, you could go with the solarinsis wrasse. Decently priced and just as nice as some of the high dollar ones in my opinion.

I'm a huge fan of fish from the leopard wrasse family. My chaoti wrasse is probably my favorite. If you have an adequate environment for mandarins, leopards should do well too.

I will add that picking out a leopard wrasse should hold a higher level of scrutiny than other wrasses. They don't always acclimate to the home aquarium as well as the others. Finding one that is already eating frozen foods is a MUST!

Ralph (Mysterybox), can be very helpful when it comes to informing and educating about the proper care of leopard wrasses.

the Scotts LQQK awsome

Scott's Fairy Wrasse, Juvenile/Female (Australia) - Small
Scott's Fairy Wrasse, Juvenile/Male (Australia) - Small

Do you plan on having any shrimp in your tank? I've heard that some wrasses like to eat or kill shrimp. Anybody had any experience with this?

I have a yellow choris wrasse and a fire shrimp and have had no problems.

i have 2 pepermint shrimps but i had one of them with the 2 wrasses i had last time

Good news. Just wanted to clarify.

Edit: I've read where wrasses can and will kill shrimp. I've always wanted a sixline but don't want him eating $40.00 fire shrimp.

Understood.
I saw u were interested in an engineer goby. I currently have one and can vouch for them. Hardy little fish and entertaining. Just watch your rock work because they can remove all sand from under big rocks. I haven't had an avalanche yet, but I'm keeping my eyes open. I'll be doing some re-landscaping during my fallow period w him in mind.

I'm with Barbara, you have too many already.....just my humble opinion.

thats why i said I'm about maxed out. i was always told 2gallons per inch but in LQQKing i found 4g per inch of system . i'm roughly 30" with about 150g ATM. so 2 more chromis and maybe 2 wrasses when i find the ones i want but in no hurry.

I misread your post. That list is what you already have. I was under the impression that that was your wish-list.

Sorry bout that...

inch per gallon is totally untrue, means nothing.......

You might want to keep in mind that a wrasse will eat up alot of your copepods. Don't want to starve the mandarin.
