Just got a flame angel. Wondering if anybody had anything good/bad to say about them. What should I watch out for? It's in my 56 gal with zoas, feather duster, candy cane, gsps, xenia, frogspawn, birds nest, and something else I got from bigjon
Well I will not tolerate him nipping my prized zoas the sps, feather duster, and gsp I don't mind him nipping a little. I just hope he doesn't find them finger or in this case fin lickin good
I know it's a little late now, but I think the best thing a new dwarf angel owner could do is put a couple of "test" coral frags in the quarantine tank to see what happens before it goes in the display.
I've been 'testing' a tiny (smaller than my clowns lol) Flame Angel in my biocube which has zoas, a kenya tree, GSP and some other various things. So far he's been awesome. I think as soon as I catch him I'll move him upstairs to the bigger tank.
I have a flame angel in my 125 for more than an year. So far he has not touched any corals. Of course, I feed him 5 times a day. I also feed him sponge rich frozen food every 3 days.
