Finally decided to start documenting my journey with the Evo. I have been loving it so far. The tank has been up for about 8 months, I'm ready to moving to a larger tank. Just like everyone says you will. But for now just going to enjoying th hobby.

Sorry for such a late reply. But i have 2 Clownfish, 1 Neon Damsel(impulse buy and regret it), and a Watchmen Goby paired with a Tiger Pistol Shrimp. I really would like to get the damsel out and that would be it for this tank. As far as coral I had a Rainbow Chalice, Birds Nest, Acans, Zoas, Superman Mushroom,Wildfire Montipora, Ultra Ricordea Mushroom and 3 Rose Bubble Tip Anemone. But I was in Orlando for Black Friday and visited WWC. I now have also added another Chalice, WWC Captain America Favia, 2 Cyphastrea, Rainbow Montipora and Orange plating Montipora

Hey I just started a evo did u change out light to support sps or was stock poor quality? I don’t want to mod my tank but if anything I would consider the light.

I did change to a kessil a80 tuna blue. I love this little light. The stock light will grow zoas, gsp, mushrooms. But the light change was a game changer, you can tell a significant difference.

If I were to suggest mods to invest in this tank. It would be 2 because the light would be the first. And due to removing lid because of light, an ATO.

I kept the ato from last tank. Do think that u could have keep any sps near top without changing light?

I think it's worth a try maybe an easy Monti or something like that

Do you run a skimmer? A lot of people are modding with filter baskets, did you keep stock filtration?

No skimmer at the moment. I have been debating for last month or two. I just seeded some NO3 Cubes from Brightwell Aquatics. Going to give them a month or 2 and see how much they help with nitrates. Then make a decision about a skimmer. I'm using the "inTank" media basket.

I just got Intank basket and ordered icecap nano. Dimensions say it should fit. Reviews seemed good for the size.

Can it only fit in the middle chamber. The way my light is setup, I want to use the first chamber. I like the reviews and pricing for that skimmer tho. I hope it all works out for ya

Chambers are slighly different sizes so most likely only in chamber 2. 1st pic is chamber 2 dimensions and second pic is of chamber one.
