AC went out at the office over the long weekend. At least two days of the tank 86*+. The torch and trumpet seem a little unhappy but are recovering. I believe I had an emerald crab die. Pretty sure it wasn't just a shell. He caused a small nitrate spike as well. Meaning it's at 10-20. I've got some BA/diatoms. Doing daily 1/2 gallon water changes this week as I'll also be out of town for work next week. My team will handle top off and feeding next week.... fingers crossed.

I feel like part of what I'm facing right now is too light circulation. I bought a pair of cheap sunsun powerheads, 500gph a piece. 1 of them is waaaay too much. it's a little big too. Any recommendations?

koralia 425 or smaller koralia pumps

The nano Hydor Koralia pumps are great, but check out the Tunze Nanostream 6020 too. The nozzle on top can be rotated to adjust the flow to where/how you want it. Plus, it can be mounted to the back wall and not take up too much space in a small tank like that.

The 240 may work. It looks like the replacement return pump that everyone has always used is discontinued. mini-jet 606....
