I bought a frag today that came with an extension underneath it. I tried to break it with my hands with negative results. What's the best way to remove the extension so that I can actually mount the frag?

Yep, I have a big pair of heavy duty scissors that work pretty well. I've also used pvc pipe cutters and big dykes. The scissors are definitely what's worked best for me.

I've found the PVC cutters to work very well too.

Once you cut it off, you can glue a zoa to the cut-off portion and shove that in the rockwork somewhere too.

dremel with diamond bit. you can really cut off a lot of the plug very accurately
