Fragging Kenya tree?

+1

cut it outside the tank, let it sit for awhile (it will get pissed and release chemical, they are very harmful to SPS) rinse it and put it back.

+1 to the blender, lol. Everyone says xenia and gsp are the weeds of reef tanks, its been kenya for me. The branches fall off daily and will grow anywhere! I dont know the best method for fragging it, but the first piece i obtained the guy just reached in and tore it off. Been polluting my tank since.

I like them. I am sure, like the cockaroach and people who refuse to wear deodorant at work...they serve some ecological purpose. BTW, I have a nice guy coming by by a few minutes to pick them up.

thats good someone is coming by to pick them up, definitely doesn't seem right just to throw them away. I agree, I like them as well, they are pretty and grow great, can just get away from you if you arent careful. I usually just picked the branches off the sand, and placed them in the back of the tank behind rock. As stated before, they will grow anywhere. I think anybody just starting a reef tank should get some just to stay motivated seeing something growing!
