I will perform Phospate tests on club members water sample at the September 14th club meeting. Details on the meeting can be found here: http://www.atlantareefclub.org/forums/showthread.php?t=48129">http://www.atlantareefclub.org/forums/showthread.php?t=48129

This is available to club members only.

I ask that you bring at least 50ml of tank water (a sandwich ziplock 1/2 full should be plenty).

This is a free service and is at a first come, first served basis. I will not take reservations, you must find me at the meeting.

I will be using one of the new, small Hanna colormeters for the tests and it takes 4-5 minutes per test so I will not be able to do more than ~10 tests.

All I ask is that you only use the test if you think you might have a phosphate problem.

I reserve the right to cancel at the last moment if an emergency arises :)

I am offering this as a service to club members. If there is enough interest, maybe we can start a water testing team that would show newbies how to properly perform tests or perfom tests for elements people don't normally purchase test kits for (Iodine, stontium, copper, phosphate, etc). My other reason for doing this is I want to see if this colormeter works since it has always read 0.00 on my tank samples. :)
