I use this method to get rid of flukes (aka trematodes aka flatworms). 7-10 minutes works best, it takes a while for the flukes to begin to die and drop off.
I follow that up with PraziPro.
IME it hasn't been terribly effective against anything else, although we usually follow up a FW bath with an appropriate treatment protocol for whatever has infested the fish.
