Here is a link to the kind that I have. It is only being used to put small pins to shelve my mesh top so most of it is not in the water, but a little bit may possible get hit by the water line.

Should I be worried?

Technically speaking, no it's not reef safe, but if you're only using a few dabs above or at the waterline, it would probably be ok.

Best not to chance it. Small tubes or reef safe 100% Silicone can be had for as little as 6 bucks. Then when/if your tank crashes, you can rule out having used the wrong silicone.....

...just sayin'.......

If it says it resist mold (which this does), I agree with Dakota and would not use it.

I apologize... this is actually the kind that I got.

It says it is moisture resistant... but it is also 100% silicone and non-toxic. It doesn't say mold resistant... so that is good?

From the description........

Perfect for use in marine applications above the water line

You be the judge, but I'd "just say no" since your application would put it "at" the water line

They used to have a GE one for aquariums also. I don't know if they still carry it.

They do! GE I as opposed to the II. Same stuff, just no "mildew resistant". Sometimes, it does discolor a yellow. Harmless, just unsightly. I learned the hard way......but for a sump, or your application, just fine.
