Here in B'ham,AL. there is only one store around here and the guy sd. he is not insured to come out fix it...I called some guy he knows but he never called back soo hopefully my fix will work, sux being in AL!!

There is no euro brace, the only bracing would be the canopy. Its really a rimless style tank and the canopy goes about 2 inces over the edge.

Sux cos I just got an awesome saddleback butterfly yesterday and I cant enjoy him yet :(

You may want to leave that brace on for 48-72 hours. I know that silicon usually says it cures in 24, but I would wait if possible. When you remove the beam clamp(s), I would do that slowly as well. You have come this far, no sense in rushing things now. JMHO

I went back and opened my old fart eyes and did not see bracing this time!:lol2::lol2::lol2: I am with Raj I would have that cut or two more cut and a second brace applied. But I guessed it held once maybe it will again for ? years

after 10 years it doesn't take much to separate silicone from glass..

at least when the brace popped off, the initial spike in loading on the front and back panels didn't crack or damage them..

I agree with the others, leave the clamps on at least a week...

My 55gal plastic brace broke and i replaced it with some stainless steal strap.Just went to home depot and bent it to the correct dimensions.
here is a pic
