Help!! Clowns too hyper!!

My albinos have been extremely hyper ever since I put them in the cube. Like swimming up and down the glass at a very rapid rate. Is this something I should I should be concern about? This has never happened to my other clowns. Picasso are doing a similar thing.

Typical. I've gone through a number of clowns over the years, and while they didnt all do this, quite a few would swim back and forth, up and down all day long for a few days.

Lol try turning the vortech down to the minimal amount. Though this behavior may be "typical" it is not natural. Obviously this environment is not natural to them, and possibly decreasing excess flow will allow them to chill out a bit. They are probably just stressed from the move.

The clowns are small right? Like 1.5in or so? When I first got mine I had to turn everything but the return pump off, they just weren't used to that kind of flow, considering the grow out tank mine were from had nothing but a sponge filter and a HOB filter for flow. Mine still will run up and down the glass when I walk by, begging for food.

The albino are actually rather big, at least one is. The piscassos are tiny tho. Barely an inch

Best thing is to give them to me Thanh. I don't think they like your tank at all.....

How did you acclimate them or quarantine and condition them? If they are going hyuper, they are probably stressing out supreme.

My clowns definitely like to go up and down in my tank, but they are not doing in a hyper manner. In my last tank I had a pair of smaller clowns (about an inch) and they did NOT like a lot of flow. They would look really uncomfortable when it was turned up.

I have Two false percula"s that did the same thing in my biocube for two weeks now 7 months later they are perfectly lazy fish one hosting in a rose bubble and the other in the hammer head

Day 4 update: they seem to have settled down a bit . Introduced a bta yesterday, but it has been taken I've by an anenome crab. I will see if the crab disrupts hosting behavior . 1 clown is missing tho. Which has me worried. Anyone know where I can get a glass lid?

Edit: And as for QT. they are in their own systems right now. Not in the main DT

Be careful my clown killed my anemone crab just so he could host in it.
