Help GBTA

Hey guys my GBTA was Perfect last night and today when i came home it clouded the whole tank and turned into mostly goo. He lost all color. What should i do? Take the loss or try to save him. My RBTA is fine.

No it lost most of its Color and is falling apart. I know what it looks like pooping. Its gooey. My guess is its toast. but i dont understand why. it was a healthy 10" gbta ive had it close to a month. My RBTA has been good to.

Edit: Do you think a Temp swing could do this? my tank got to 85 yesterday. I keep in at 80 in the summer and 79 in the winter.

If it's goo, you'd better take it out right away to not contaminate the tank. Make sure it's not pooping because they do look weird when they do. If it looks like jelly and has white slime coming out, it may be dying. Take it out!

Yeah I think it Ate itself. Alot of the Tentacles fell off. I cleaned it up and took all the Slimy goo off. When he poops its a big ole brown Goo. He Clouded the tank and i since did a 50% change. I put it back as all the Tentacles now are firm and he seems ok. He has never used his foot. His foot is like 6 inches long and he has never once attcthed. But has always done fine and opened.

I hope he pulls threw. This guy was not cheap..

IF the anemone was melting, it'd smell awful as soon as you took it out of the water.

So far he stopped Gooing" and is not opening slow. We shall see. Should i keep changing the water? It's still a little cloudy?

Well after 3 water changes so far he made it. but lost alot of body mass and Tentacles. So far he is back to normal and getting color. I think the huge temp swing got him.
