Help! I need some iridescent fish

Please suggest some small reef safe fish with iridescent markings for my 57 gallon mixed reef. Current tank inhabitants are a pair of b/w ocellaris clowns, a flame-tail blenny, a yasha goby/pistol pair, and various shrimp, crabs, and cuc.

I had a stunning predominantly blue/purple coral beauty angel until my 666 line wrasse bullied him to death. The 666 line is banished to the sump; I may replace him with a yellow coris wrasse once i confirm that the coris won't trouble my coco worm.

My blue spot jawfish went carpet surfing after becoming annoyed with my overzealous aquascaping.

Needless to say, I don't have any colorful or iridescent fish that will truly compliment the amazing blue that my led's put off.

Please help... All suggestions are welcome, pics are encouraged

I have a yellow Coris in my 300 with a Hawaiian Coco Worm, and he has not shown any interest in it at all. Coris Wrasses are awsome. One of the brightest yellows I have ever seen not powered by electricity.

You need a cover of some sort if you want to keep any jumpers in your tank. Of course that is anathema to the clean look of a rimless tank like yours. That is something I learned when I had my 100 rimless set up. Never thought that having or not having top trim on a tank would determine the type of fish I could keep.

How about a pseudochromis. There are some really bright ones. Neon, splendid, bicolor, and orchid are some of my favorites.

that's good to know, the chromis isn't listed as reef safe on live aquaria, i hear they like feather dusters - i thought coco worms may be on the menu, too. lol

I have also seen groups of five "red spot cardinals" (not pajama or Banghai) that are very silvery shiny on some internet sites (LiveAquaria). Pure Reef has had them in stock lately. They might work for you as well, but I don't know if they are jumpers.

Here is a Glassbox Design link for some Japanese Reef tanks that use these cardinals I am talking about, Apogon and Zoramia species per the link.

These layouts remind me a lot of the freshwater planted tank style of Takashi Amano.

Yeah, those do remind me of freshwater tanks. the fish look like little tetras lol.

Thanks for all of the help so far, guys! The pseudochromi's look cool, but i'm reading that they may be aggressive to my goby. It seems like all the pretty wrasses are jump hazards. The search is still on.

Pseudochromis are nice, as was said. I have three fathead (Sunburst) anthias which are colorful, but not irridescent. Well, I guess you could call them irridescent. Another nice one I have is a swissguard basselet, the poor man's candy basselet.

Pseudochromis are known to jump so I don't think I would go that route. The cardinals would probably be OK like Dave said. Only problem is I have seen pretty much every kind of fish jump so its always a risk without a cover or canopy of some sort.

I thought Oceanic actually made a glass cover for the Illuminata that sits on small plastic clips like that of the Solana......yup, here it is. Won't help with temperature regulation or looks, but......
