I just noticed that a wrasse I purchased the other day has white spots on its body, and now my sailfin tang is starting to get a few on it as well. All fish before the addition had no signs of what I presume is ick. I noticed a few specs on the wrasse but figured it may be just sand sticking to the mucus on his body. Now unfortunately I notice it's not.

The live stock includes:
Sailfin Tank
Wantanabe Angel
Clown Fairy Wrasse
(2) B/W Clowns
(3) Blueline Cardinals
(4) Red Spot Cardinals
Bicolor Blenny
Green line Goby
Maxima Clam
Cleaner Shrimp
Corals
Zoas
Monti Caps
Monti Encrusting
GSP
Chalice

Only fish showing signs are the Wrasse and Tang, both are still eating alot. Any ideas how to remedy this befor it gets out of hand?

bump your temp up to 82 and start feeding them like they were sumo wrestlers

Yea my temp runs about 80 anyway and I have been feeding Rods food like crazy normally once a day now twice with bigger portions. The wrasse is looking little better and today was first day noticed the tang was showing signs of it.

Thanks for the advice
Nate

+1....and do water changes pretty regularly just to help out with nitrates and the like from the amount of food you'll be feeding....you can try Focus and Metronidazole as well...can help with immune systems but not completely necessary

Yea I do a water change once a week so I may do a littel bigger water change since I am feeding more.

Thanks

I am using Metro & Focus along with garlic guard and some vitamins in their food soak and feeding them twice daily.

No, this is being fed in the display. I would have to tear down all my LR to get my regal out and the stress from this and the transfer to QT would have made things worse so this method is being used in the display. I have done it once before with sucess.

I try to QT all new arrivals before adding to the display but doesnt always work that way........QT Police go pick on someone else....:lol2:
