help me pick my pendant/reflector

I just ordered my 93 cube from Marine Designs and am getting the overflow put on the center of the back glass. I am going to go with a single 400 watt MH. I am still up in the air about going with a SE or HQ?? I am looking for some suggestions on which pendant or retro kit to go with. I am going with an island of rock in the center of the tank and will be going mainly SPS with a few LPS. I will more than likely supplementing with either VHO's or T5's. I appreciate any input or suggestions on what to go with and how far off the water you would mount the light. The tank is (30x30x24).

I personally would go with a full size lumenbright if you have the head room. If not then go for the lumenmax. lumenmax needs to be around 12" off the water and lumenbright would need to be around 16". Oh and SE for sure

John do you think a 250 in a lumen bright could punch to the bottom and allow for SPS?

Absolutly, with correct positioning. I bet it would grow stuff like monti's all the way on the sandbed .

I agree with John. The LumenBrights are awesome if you have enough headroom. I have two over my tank and love them. I use SE Radiums and the color is amazing.
