Sooo I got an awesome paddlefin wrasse a few days ago and hes sooo active and by far my favorite fish ive ever had! Right now hes in my 75g with a lion, snowflake, and niger trigger.

Well I'm in the process of setting up my 145g tank w/55g sump, 75g "fuge" full of live rock, and ONE or maybe even TWO 55g drums plumbed in as well. So im looking at over 200 gallons of water when its all said and done. Anyway I had planned on putting all 4 of them and a few other aggressive fish in with them. But... after sitting watching my wrasse he started to remind me of my old African cichlids and gave me an awsome idea of making the 145 a wrasse ONLY tank! I think it's going to be even better than i'm picturing it, but just wanted to see what you guys thought about the idea . Oh and mainly to see if anyone had ever done it before.

It would be a very active and beautiful thing to see. Only advice that I can give is to make a list of what you absolutely want and make that list according to aggression. Follow it adding from least to most aggressive

Jin (AKA Future Interest a former member on here) his tank was wrasse dominated. Out of the 26 or so fish I think 15-20 were wrasses. It would be an awesome tank!

"Future Interest" and search him out and enjoy reading his posts. I believe one of his last was the welcoming committee and coral battle threads

alright thanks guys! yeah that was my main concern was the aggression issue, but ill figure it out ;p

so after talking to a few people i realized that most all the wrasses i want to house together are all from the Thalassoma genus... so my tank would basically be a battle ground... lame.. but im still looking into other smaller wrasses that may get along better

When looking for wrasses that can be housed together check out the fairy's and flashers. Most all of them can be housed together with little aggression.

yeah thats what ive been looking at more today. pluss most of them are reef safe so i could make a killer softy tank :). hmmmmm
