Well actually I bought an apex, two more vortechs, big skimmer... and then a radion from him. So I guess it ended up working out to be better than that with a volume discount.
I think they go for about $700 so not bad. Not sure though.

No, just planning a high end build for my next house and know these are items I would use. Probably going to upgrade the skimmer but can't ever have enough vortechs and I'm an apex whore.

Yes, it is the same price. The nylon socks are a bit more expensive than the poly ones, but worth every penny.

I think this is the 4" sock for me. If I order 6, and my sump uses 3 at a time, how long do you think before I will be placing another order? Do they last a long time?

You can try to order 6, but you may have to order multiples of five. They are very sturdy, and I have used some for 3 years before needing to replace them.

But if you are going to put these in an MRC sump, do not get the ones you linked to. They are way too short. You need item NMO100P4P.
