I have about 30 socks. If you're running 3 then I would have a bunch too. Nothing worse than needing new ones and you forgot to clean the old ones.

I like to have minimum three sets of filter socks. In my case, I have openings for three 7" socks, so I like have 9 on hand, two sets of three for regular alternating use, and a backup set.

Also, got anyone buying filter socks from filterbag or anywhere else, expect your skimmer to temporarily over foam when you put brand new socks into service. I usually just turn my skimmer off for a day or so after putting a new one in service.
