How to Filter New Tank?

lol good eye. I am primarily a cichlid keeper (midas, festae, FH & HRP). festae is 1 of my favs and i do breed them as well. the reason I posted in ARC is because you guys have the ADVANCED setups & the knowledge thereof. :thumbs: Dan, email incoming. GTs are nice cichlids as well. I like any cichlids w/the large hump.:up:

I do have a canister or two but have not figured out how to setup the intake/return since on the model I have, they also use the edge to hang off of.

If you want to do a canister filter on there, there is a great one that is big enough. It's the Fluval FX5. You'll need lots of room for it, as it's the size of a 5 gallon bucket. It has a lot of nice features like self priming, you can hook a hose to a valve on the bottom to drain the tank, etc. It moves 925GPH and is whisper quiet. You can find them shipped for under $200.
