Btw, there is an interesting thread about hair algae that just started up within the last few days...there is a pretty interesting hypothesis about low levels of phos actually being embedded in live rock..

Testing with a bench top photometer puts my trates at zero and PO4 at .14-.23
I'm going to start doubling my WC. Doing one 30g WC a week now.

I have read that thread too. I'm afraid to say I completely subscribe to the theory about the rock holding/leaching PO4. I have a mix of rock I used for my tank. The Marco rock is completely clean and free of any algae. The rock I got from someone who was breaking down their system has algae of some sort growing on it all the time.
