Tomorrow night is your club meeting, and I'm flying it to speak. I'm super excited and highly motivated since I just got my 400g up and running as of last night. It's been a very long road to get to this point.

Hey Marc... looks like you picked on the first unofficial rule of the club ( pics or it didn't happen), the system looks great by the way. Saw the presentation that you did during the frag swap, maybe 2 years ago, and was very impressed you gave a lot of practical advice. I think you may have even saved my living room floor from being flooded at least once, don't worry I've spilled enough since then to make up for it.

Anyone who is on the fence about going to the meet and seeing Marc speak should go... it is worth it!.

marc that spawn was awesome i know its too late now but it would have been cool to try and collect some of the eggs and keep them in a shallow dish in a frag tank or something and try to grow them out.

Yep, it kinda sucks - you can add multiple pics per post, but you have to upload them one at a time.

The server times out if you try to do more than 1-2 at a time, so I had to restrict it.


It's on my (ever growing) "To Fix" list...

Yes. Fixing the pics is needed sooooooo bad. There is another vbulletin forum that I am a member of, and they allow us to upload as many pics as we want, AND directly from our phones without using Tapatalk.

Craigslist does the same thing now. You can select from your photo album and upload just as if you were selecting a file location on your computer, without using any kind of app that you have to download.

A lot of the best vB features actually won't come with any upgrade.

But, a lot of the codes for doing cool stuff to the site are written for newer vB, you just have to find them.
