In my 120 I have had a sailfin tang for a few weeks and he has been hard to find, often hiding in the very back of the tank. Today I added 20lbs of rock and made some more caves and now the tang seems much more happy and comes up to the front of the tank while I'm sitting near it. Just a behavior thing I noticed and thought might help someone else new to the hobby. I also added a school of 6 one inch green chromis fish today, perhaps this also played some role as these are brave little fish.

Schools of Chromis are frequently used as 'dither fish' to draw more timid fish out of hiding, just as you've done. It's likely that both changes had an impact. Good job!

The pacific blue and powder blue are a bit shy. They follow each other around but hide in the rocks when people come into the room.

I think I might try putting in some chromis to draw them out.

BTW, the two tangs are inseparable. Which I think is pretty cool.
Welcome to the ARC !! The company you work for does some pretty cool stuff with excavating and heavy equipment . Sorry for the hijack!
