What is the best way to get rid of bristle worms while keeping my reef safe?

I have a Tonga rock in my refuge. When I opened up my cabinet door this morning and turned on the lights, I noticed a long worm, white in color slide back in a hole. I think I'm now a little more motivated to use my gloves if I move around any rocks. In any case, anyone know what type of worm it might be? It seems like it was partially inside the hole when I turned on the lights but I believe I got a glimpse of at least 5 inches of the remaining part of the worm slither back into the hole. I do have a very small mandarin in my refuge. I hope it will be safe for him. If not, I'll transfer him to the main tank immediately.

Thanks...

Your mandarin will be fine. The worm won't eat him unless he's dead & decaying.

Hmmm..... What type of worm does this look like though? Should I take the rock out altogether in the hope of getting rid of the worm if it poses a threat?
