ID please

Does anybody know what this is?
It hitch hiked in my tank and the little worm looking things retract when you touch them.
I don't think they are feather dusters,what do ya'll think?
Are they safe?

Nope,it has hard tubes that the heads re-tract into.

First guess hydroids. Second would be vermitted snails. Good luck figuring it out.

IDK,I thought they were some kind of vermitted snails,but I can't find a reference to them anywhere.I have some definite vermitted snails that don't look anything like this.
They don't bother anything that I know of so I guess they'll stay for now.
It's the un-known stuff I'm worried about,like chemical warfare and things like that.

Yep I think hydroid. Kill them the same way you do vermitids by cutting off their food supply.
Only other thing that is close are barnacles, but I doubt it
