ID please

I was moving some frags around today and saw this thing crawling around on one of them. Looks like a baby shrimp but just want to make sure. Body size is about 3/16's of an inch. It was definately alive as it was moving. Thought it was a frozen brine till it started trying to get away. Any ideas?

Yep. Copepods are much smaller. Good fish food!

fish food...lol. They are great sources of live food for most of your fish in your tank. Don't worry about them.

I have something that looks similar, but is all white and very tiny. Would it be the same thing?

Copepods are much smaller.

It is an amphipod.
