IM Panorama Drop-Off 20g

I picked this up from jeffandkelly and I’m super excited to get it going. I’ve wanted one of these since they came out. I’m not sure how fast the tank will get going. We’ve got our first child due in 1.5 weeks now so it may be slow to get going. I plan on having LPS/zoas and at least 1 BTA. I’ll put either my clowns from my 90g in there or grab another pair.

I’ll be using my NanoBox Mini Tide LED and an AquaMaxx 1.0 skimmer on the tank. Not sure what I’ll do for flow yet.

Congradulations on the first child and the new tank! Both exciting! I have a 10 gallon mixed reef by the head of my bed and it is VERY relaxing to look at while falling asleep! Cool tank with lots of options! Happy Reefing!

Got some toys today. The Tunze looks huge in the tank, hopefully it won’t be too much flow. I have a feeling I’ll eventually get something adjustable.

Just got our new season tickets yesterday too!! I’m excited for the champions league game next Thursday in Kennesaw

I ended up changing my light plan. The tank will now sport a 4 bulb T5 and reefbites. I may change my plans for stocking now since this will put out a ton of light.

I feel like I’ve been sitting on this for a while now so I filled the tank with some water to make sure there are no leaks. It’s been holding solid since Saturday. I’m going to try to empty it today and move it to it’s final spot. I need to figure out a way to hang my lights now. I have a 4 bulb LET retro fit fixture and a reefbite I need to hang or suspend. I was thinking that 8020 aluminum stuff by I don’t want to break the bank for a light fixture.

How are you liking your drop off tank? How does flow work?

I love the look and build quality. I haven’t got it running yet but I think with the upgraded pump and tunze powerhead flow will be fine. I plan on having the PH low and angled upwards. The tank will be bare bottom so I won’t worry about too much movement.

I used a really small jeabo in mine. It works well. The spin streams from IM do give some nice random flow

I’ve kind of got things running. I am switching my lights up again. It was too much stuff over the tank with the t5s and reefbite so I got a good deal on a Nanobox duo m. I’m also not sure about the hob skimmer. It’s making a bit of a mess and I don’t want to deal with that. I’ll get some pics up soon

Well this thing has been on autopilot for a while and doing well. I’ve been waiting a little while on custom LEDs to get and and hopefully will be here this week. Today I picked up some LR for the tank. I’m not sure if I’m 100% happy with it but we’ll go with it for now.

It’s so hard to take pictures with leds and a camera phone, maybe I’ll get the dslr our of retirement.

If you don't already have pandoras, I have 2 colonies in my tank. Things grow so fast and nobody likes em lol.
