Ive had me GBTA for about a month now and despite him moving completely out of viewing area i think he is on his way out...
He is shrunken down really tiny compared to his normal self and has turned this really dark green. His tenacles are sooo much thinner and smaller than they normally are and his center is fully exposed. He normally adjusts bigger/smaller depending on light, feeding etc..but never this small - the clowns dont even fit him and even at his smallest they fit.
This could be perfectly normal, maybe not..he has had plenty of light (12 hrs actinic/9 hours full on 500 watts of T-5) and a good meal of shrimp 2 days ago. water quality is average, all 0 except the 5-10 nitrates, mag 1250, 1.023 sg, temp 81.4.
I did my best to get pics and after about 50 i found 2 usable shots, unfortunately they are too big to upload but can email if u want.
