Edit: $62.50 each plus yhe $20 shipping for orders of 40 or more

Thanks Robby. I'll also look around and see what I can find. Have made a few connections from my wholesale days.

actually shipping is $26.35

Edit: I would be in for 2 if we can do a group buy just to try them out on my new 92 corner tank

Edit: $88.85 each for $177.70 I'll give them a shot

here is the link

looks like several people are waiting on the wp25 but I would go in for 2 of either. I dont think they really compare to vortech mp40 but I spent $750 on 2 of those so at this price I will be the guinea pig and do a comparison

I think its pretty stupid to have to pay separate shipping. Another scam to get more cash.

I think it will be a great PH but No way can you compare it to a Vortec. Looks nothing like it or even close.
Looks like a Tunze.

Im a Die hard Vortec guy. Yes it sucks to drop the cash on them but I will never go back to anything else. I saved for 2 months before i bought them

This appears to be developing into an unofficial group buy. If so, it needs to be done properly please. A new thread would have to be created in the lounge by the person handling the group buy. The title must say "Unofficial Group Buy". In the thread body you must post the pricing structure and shipping costs as well as who it is being purchased from.

it is wahat it is. unless someone is planning a trip to china we would have to pay it. still you got to admit to go to china pick up a package and bring it all the way acroos the pacific ocen to california then to put it on a plant to atlanta and then on a truck to your house for less than $27 bucks aint that bad imho.

You hush up

well I have 2 mp40's and love them but I'm setting up a new tank and not really wanting to spend another $930 on 2 more so I'm willing to give these a shot

I understand we will get a discount if we buy a bunch of these. Having said that I still think someone should email them and see if we can get a discount on shipping before we set up a group buy. All they can say is no.

I did... here's the response:

"Shipping cost below 20 Unit is no different on it. Only 30 Unit have a discount (Extra 10% OFF on the shipping fee). But if you have a UPS account can collection from our warehouse, that you can only pay the item price for us only."

I would be down for two WP-40s.

I have a UPS account but I don't even know what "But if you have a UPS account can collection from our warehouse, that you can only pay the item price for us only." means.

How can you say no way you can compare it to a Vortec, when you don't own both pumps? The only people that can make that claim are those that actually own and have tried both the Vortec and Jebo powerheads out, there are a few on the Reefcentral post.

As far as using them versus saving up for a Vortec, for me its all about what you are looking for in a powerhead, what are your top 2 or 3 things when it comes to purchasing and using powerheads. Is cost your top thing? What about Noise Levels? Or are you all about asthetics and could care a less about cost? What about reliability? I would think one should know first what it is they are looking for and then go from there. To me cost and noise are 2 of my top things. If I can't afford it then Im not going to buy it and if its too loud then Im going to get irritated with it pretty quick because I can't hear Game of Thrones playing  on my tv. Of course Im a noob so my requirements in a powerhead may change one day but for now those are my top 2. So for me this would seem like a very very good product to look into. Whereas Vortec's would not. At this point, i really do want a Vortec just so I could compare it to other powerheads. I personally don't care if I have a few wires sticking out of my tank in the corner, I don't look at the corner of my tank anyways, i look more towards the middle where all the fish and coral are. But thats just me.

I THINK he is saying we only pay him the price for the WP-40s, and the shipping is charged to someone's UPS account.

I guess technically you could compare Danny Devito to Shaq.... Huge difference!

The closest thing to a vortech is the name. Functionality, controllability, aesthetics, (likely) quality all appear very different.

Exactly

I am a vortech fan also especially since no cords are in the tank. Not to hi jack Chris don't you run 2 mp40s in your 60 cube? Thinking about picking up another one for mine

I agree. Just because something can make waves doesn't mean it can do the same things. Next thing you'll tell me is that a "Wave Box" and a Vortec are the same things.
While I'm not here to argue the quality or functionality of the Jebo as others have done...I will argue that the aesthetics and controllability are 100% different. The aesthetics are why most want Vortec's. Throw in the ability to control with the controller (that comes with it) that has a near infinite number of options and the ability to control with any controller (apex, reefkeeper, etc) thus increasing to infinite, and this isn't even a discussion any longer.
There are alot of pumps out there that can do the same gph as a Vortec, have controllers, etc...but none of them ARE Vortec. VORTEC'S RUN A ZERO PERCENT CHANCE OF FRYING YOUR TANK. This is because the propeller and the motor are separated by glass which is an insulator. Vortec's and Tunze don't even compare.

Compare apples to apples.

"Butter and margarine aren't the same thing. They might do the same thing, but...one is a molecule away from being plastic and could give you cancer, and the other just makes lazy people fat."- Me =)

I just don't like cords in the tank lol if someone would make another pump without cords I would jump on it especially if was cheaper willing to give anything a shot
