Hi all. Just dropping a quick hi! Back in the hobby after being out for 10 years. Jumped back in and started up a 125gal. Just in the cycling stage but excited to get going. Located in Newnan. I see lots of people from the north side of Atlanta, any southsiders around.
 
I got out when my kids were little and I had more focus on them and less time for hobbies. Now they are older and go figure my oldest just got himself an aquarium so we just figured make it a family thing to share now. He is into planted freshwater but I always loved Salt.

I just joined ARC recently for a similar reason; my wife is no longer working and my youngest is now 8, so I have more time and won't feel guilty going to club meetings/events.
 
I’ll be posting pics soon. Right now it’s just a mess cycling. Nothing to pretty about it LOL.
 
We are in Griffin. It's dead on the Southside since Blue Planet and the Fish Garden closed. We have to travel or get things shipped :(
 
I understand, I lived in Griffin for 11 yrs born and raised in Jonesboro. There is Off the Hook in Peachtree City. It’s not to bad . Doesn’t have a huge selection but what they have is nice. I just hate driving to the north side.
 
Off the hook is hit and miss (in my opinion) with their customer service. They can be pretty rude. I get it though the drive sucks!! But we usually make a full circle and try to go to about 4 or 5 of them.
 
Welcome back. I feel like this hobby always does that. I got out for a few years but when i started seeing corals I got the itch again. I thought moving would calm it but decided to still keep running them. The people here are awesome and so friendly.

I’d have to agree . Lots of knowledge and helpful people here. Just wish there were more of us on the south side of town. LOL
 
I'm in Peachtree City. Rebuilding a 125 gallon now! Off the Hook has been pretty good in my experience, but they have a lot of younger high school kids working there so maybe not the most knowledgeable lfs out there.
 
Yea I have a 125 also. Nice to see another person in Fayetteville/Coweta.
Off the Hook impressed me today. They took care of an issue I encountered. Was quite surprised. Definitely made a satisfied customer . The young lady with purple hair not sure of her name is awesome as well as the younger gentleman with tattoos. I dealt with one of the owners today that was also terrific.
 
Yeah don’t get me wrong, they are very nice! And I haven’t had a bad experience with them yet. The purple hair young lady and the taller, blonde(I think) young lady are nice and knowledgeable for sure. I’m in there at least once a eeek for top off water, black ‘07 4Runner. Let me know if you see it!
