Kenya Tree babies?

Lord have mercy on me, please! Sometimes when I go to pull out a little Kenya Tree that's spouted up, it tears a little off, but doesn't get the whole thing. Sometimes the torn piece slips out of the tongs and then POOF I've made to Kenya Trees from one. Anyone have a better solution to keep this stuff under control? I still hate that I actually PAID for this stuff...STEVE!!

I just cleaned all of it out of my tank except for the main stalk. To remove Kenya trees, I work my fingernail underneath the base of it and very carefully peel it off. Nothing's reappeared in the places from where I removed it, although there are a couple of babies that I've noticed in the sandbed.

And, shhhhhhhh. Don't give this stuff such a bad rap. I have a lot of frags to give away!
