Anyone have a kill a watt meter I could borrow? Want to figure out the number of watts my tank is using.

Thanks
Colin

Colin, there is something similar available at Target back in their Home Improvement section for $20. You can even put in your price and it will figure out how much it's costing...not sure I want to know that...

No kidding right. Ignorance is bliss sometimes.

PM sent. The one I have does all that, cost per day, week, month, year. It's kinda scary.

Colin, check your local library. Gov. Sonny Purdue has placed 1 in every library and can be checked out just like a library book. :D

I borrowed one from my local library this past Spring!

Not trying to hijack your thread. Id love to find out how much Im using.Any one want to explain the process of testing and figuring the numbers.

Device wattage/1,000 x cost per kilowatt-hour (kwh)= cost to run the device for 1 hour.

Amps x volts (V) = wattage.
