Hi everyone. Is there anyone here that has used the latest Korallia pumps on a wavemaker? I have also read that they are pretty fragile where they connect to the suction pad on the glass. If you have used them, are you satisfied with their performance?
Thank you.

I used two of the 1400s on a wavemaker and they did great. The only thing about the mount is, when you are removing it you can't pull on the pump. You have to break suction on the base. There are o-rings that hold the pump to the base, and if you get hamfisted you'll pop the o-rings off (which is no problem as long as you don't lose one in the tank).

I have one running on my cube along with 2 mp10's. I hooked the k4 evo up to my wavemaker and it works perfect. Comes on and off when its suppose to. The only thing I don't like about it is that you'll hear a little click or crack sound when it comes on. Makes me think my stand is cracking when I hear that.

Strange... to hear mine come on, I had to be by the tank and really listening for it.

Sorry I wasn't clear about it, I have to be standing right next to make tank as well to be able to hear it. If I'm standing a couple feet away from it then I won't hear it unless I really try and look for the click/crack. I've read reviews about it happening to other people as well when I was looking to buy it so I no its normal. It just makes me nervous because I don't like hearing things like that near my tank. The only noise I want to hear is the sound of water flowing/falling.

the nano doesn't come with the small o-rings mount, it's the same mount as the old nano ones and yes I broke one too. Other than that they're fine, very low power usage.

Works well on a wavemaker, I had one on my seahorse tank and you could barely hear it

Thanks for clarifying about the mount. I've never had a nano-sized one (of either generation).

Thanks for the feedback guys. I am thinking of replacing 2 of my venerable, tried and true mj 1200s with some. My experience with the older Korralias was the noise and that they did not always turn on with a wavemaker. I am still using those older ones , and they run fine constantly.

Yep, the new ones do not "chatter" on startup like the old ones, and they won't start backwards sometimes (I tried my old K4s on a wavemaker just to see, and that was the only real problem).
